Johnny V’s over at downtown is a place for anyone interested in gaining real life experience for anyone looking to drop 8 bars on their open Mics. Open Mics are rare to come by here in San Jose. It’s even rarer for groups’ reactions right then and there that show both positive and negative reactions. At the moment, places like BJs are targeting “Sports Bar” themes, Clubhouse is hiring live DJs, but Johnny V is the place to see local talent or even if you’ve ever consider the thought of going on America’s Got Talent. Right now, The Usual’s, are the one who should be considered top dog for giving local talent the chance for live performances, MACLA use to hold it down until the whole underage drinking sort of shut the place down. Whatever shit happens, but Johnny V is the place for the “Older” crowd who knows how to order a Gin & Tonic wants to go.
