2^nd man in the “Counter-Productive Crew”, Skylar G is becoming top tier. Producers are their own breed when it comes to personality. They envision substance without matter, movement without force; they just see shit others can’t. He carries his flow with funky early 90s zings that really give you this sense of, “Hell yeah, this shit is from the ZAE.” 

The difference from a DJ and Producer are similar but very different on one note. A DJ mixes or remixes tracks. A Producer “creates” tracks. All originality is what keeps a producer one step above. You have to wonder what goes on inside the mind-state of Skylar G. for keeping up with the crew of Counter-Production. This sound coming out of San Jose is happening right now.
