Living in San Jose lately has deprecated the value of “true” photography. With modern technology and so many blogs about people blabbering about pictures being Photoshop, there happens to be a genuine photographer living in San Jose who once told me, “What you see if what you get.”

Shayne Herrera, has this inner person that craves for knowledge outside of corporate walls, his experience and portfolio carries the added weight on merits alone.  A man whose purpose is to walk the earth in search of what is happening on the surface inside the grit and grime of civilized society, reveals what is really happening in our city while those who stay trapped inside their protected prisons sit and lay.

His photograph’s capture reality at its pinnacle point in time, taking the time to show the real justice of American living and not just some cheesy, written, soap opera fakeness that is custom to what we see on an everyday basis.
