Magic S. Gils "A working man in San Jose"

True expressive creativity is a blessing. Within one’s own time to bless the beauty of life being formed, beauty has taken an ever consistent evolution in the aesthetic form of art. Structured, discipline, and dedication is the path of any true artist, in any type of medium.
For years the local art community in San Jose has been following those 3 guidelines, here is an artist that is traveling on his journey of his own creative freedom in an ever blending of modern and traditional heritage life style. Magic Gils, brings a rich blend of Aztec influence and late 80s early 90s color blocking into each of his pieces. His pieces are unique and are emerging with powerful profiles in every painting. Within each work is stated to educate on the struggles of getting to this point in American civilization. There are powerful interpretations with colorful symbolism. From what I can say, “This is the reality of indigenous culture that cannot be taught for it is infused within the DNA of our living soul.”

Be sure to keep his Facebook posted for more work to be seen later in the future

This cat is making his own marking in what it takes to be a devoted artist, especially from the land where orchards were once flooded with the souls of or past. His work is truly remarkable with life lessons inscribed in each work. Sure, maybe the cable news story or SFMOMA hasn't caught wind of him yet. But, to each they're own. Keep up the good work my friend.
